Todd Lalonde is a lifelong community advocate with a strong commitment to public service, environmental stewardship, and building stronger communities. A retired Supervisor of Parks and Landscaping with the City of Cornwall’s Infrastructure and Municipal Works Division, Todd spent his career working to enhance public spaces and improve the quality of life for residents.

Todd’s commitment to public service is rooted in a strong family tradition. His father, Ray, and his brother, Perry, both served on Cornwall City Council, inspiring him to continue their legacy of giving back to the community.

Todd has dedicated many years to serving the community through leadership roles in education, health, and numerous local organizations. He served as Trustee and Chair of the Board of Trustees with the Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario from 2006 to 2022 and represented Eastern Ontario as Regional Director with the Ontario Catholic School Trustees’ Association from 2014 to 2022.

His community involvement includes leadership with the Family Counselling Centre of Cornwall and the United Counties, the United Way of Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry, the Eastern Ontario Health Unit, where he served as Board Member and Chair, the Ontario College of Teachers, and the Tri-County Literacy Council, where he served as Board Member and Co-Chair.

For 14 years, Todd proudly served as Co-Host of the Hospice Cornwall Telethon, helping bring the community together to raise awareness and support for compassionate end-of-life care for individuals and families throughout the region.

Todd currently serves as a provincial representative to the St. Lawrence Parks Commission, a Board Member with the Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry OPP Detachment Board, and a Board Member with the Children’s Treatment Centre of Cornwall. He is also a political contributor and Host on YourTV Cornwall, where he helps engage residents in conversations about important local and regional issues.

Todd attended Algonquin College in Ottawa and St. Lawrence College in Cornwall. He brings decades of experience, collaboration, and community leadership to his continued commitment to serving the people of Cornwall and the surrounding region.
